The quicktime events are useless, and the outcome of them remains the same even if you don't copy the commands. There doesn't seem to be a proper day/night cycle, there's just endless night or day until you complete a mission. Pedestrians don't seem to react when you attack them, everytime I punch someone they'll strike a pose looking like they're about to hit me back and then just walk away. Steelport is just boring by comparison, you can't go into any of the buildings and there dosen't seem to be anything hidden off the beaten path for you to explore (but I will try and look into this more.) The map is so empty, Stilwater was full of stores, activities and places to visit and it felt like a living, breathing city. The clothing feels like an afterthought too, what happened to layers? The character creation is a big step back in my opinion, the face and body modification tools are great but the hairstyles are mostly all crap and there isn't that many of them. But there's just too many deal breakers here and it's really disappointing. I really want to like it as I've been so excited for it all year and I've done nothing but praise this series to the high heavens since Saints Row 2 came out.
I've only been playing a day and I'm already getting fed up and wanting to go back to Saints Row 2, the game just feels completely unfinished and thrown out for a quick buck. Maybe I'm enjoying Saints Row 3 so much because I didn't expect so much from it? I'll give it 9/10, when I've completed the storyline I'll give a more in-depth and fair review! I like being able to upgrade my character and gang and the story feels long to me, I've being playing for a few hours and addicted to it!Ĭustomisation is great, characters are likable although I'm upset that Shaundi's so miserable because Gat's gone although, as I said, I'm only a fews hour in, so I don't know if he's dead for sure and will come back out of the blue.And don't spoil it for me, if he's really dead I wanna find out for myself! So far, I prefer it to Saints Row 2. 18th), I got it anyway and I'm actually impressed with it, it's more better than I imagined. I expected nothing.I lost excitement a few weeks before release and eventually lost interest as a whole.
and the story is so short! (I think it is anyway.) D: I expected soo much more from the game :( It still feels like Saints Row 2 not a sequal. After playing this game for awhile, Im really dissapointed in it.
